Turkish coffee lives in ritual, not in brands. The category talks in products, targets people who already drink it, and leaves everyone else out. We saw the gap: no one had built a refined brand personality around the ritual itself.

So we built Briki. A Bonjorno sub-brand that treats Turkish coffee as an elevated ritual, where every cup is a moment of heritage, craft, and sensory pleasure.

The strategy positioned Briki as The Connoisseur: a master of the ritual, refined and heritage-rich, speaking to newcomers and devotees alike. The identity carries it through. Warm coppers and deep roasts, ornamental linework drawn from the coffee's origins, and a roast system coded by tone across Light, Medium, and Dark.

The result is a Turkish coffee that feels curated, not commoditized. Tradition, reimagined for today's shelf.

Brand purpose: Elevated Rituals.

Two scripts, one voice

The Briki wordmark had to speak Arabic and Latin as equals, not as translation and afterthought. Both were drawn as a matched pair: the same high-contrast strokes, the same soft-but-confident curves, so the name carries identical warmth and refinement whether read right-to-left or left-to-right. It reads as one brand in two tongues, honoring where the ritual comes from and where it's going.

The gate and the kanaka

At the heart of each pack sits a quiet visual pun. The ornamental arch framing the coffee is drawn from the pointed silhouette of the Arabian gate, the threshold, the invitation in. Look again and it's the kanaka itself: the domed body and spout of the traditional pot echo the same curve. Gate and vessel become one shape.

It's a deliberate rhyme. Every cup is a threshold into heritage, and the pot is the door. The linework wraps that idea in ornamental detail drawn from the coffee's cultural roots, rewarding the closer, more discerning look our Connoisseur takes.
